House Painting for Every Niagara Home

Niagara Homes Need Different Prep

Niagara Region runs from Grimsby to Fort Erie and from Lake Ontario to Lake Erie, taking in twelve municipalities. Its housing ranges from heritage homes in Niagara-on-the-Lake and century brick in St. Catharines to post-war bungalows in Niagara Falls and Welland, lakeshore cottages in Port Colborne and Crystal Beach, and newer subdivisions in Fonthill, Grimsby and Beamsville.

Two lakes, the canal and the river mean humidity, wind off the water and hard freeze-thaw winters, which are tough on exterior paint, stain and caulking.

A Victorian cottage in Grimsby Beach, a century brick home in downtown St. Catharines, a post-war bungalow off Lundy's Lane and a new build in Fonthill all need different preparation and products. Older homes often have plaster walls, oil-based trim and layers of old paint; newer homes usually have builder-grade paint that scuffs easily. We plan each job around the house in front of us.

Interior Painting, Cabinets and Ceilings

Inside, our interior painting covers walls, ceilings, trim and doors, with drywall repair, wallpaper removal and popcorn ceiling removal handled before the first coat. Kitchen cabinet painting gives a dated kitchen a new look without the cost of new cabinetry.

Exterior Painting, Staining and Masonry

Outside, lake humidity, hot summers and freeze-thaw winters are hard on paint. Our exterior house painting starts with washing, scraping, caulking and priming, and we also paint aluminum and vinyl siding, brick and stucco, and stain decks and fences.

Painters in St. Catharines

St. Catharines is the largest city in Niagara Region, and its housing covers almost every era: brick century homes downtown and in Western Hill, post-war bungalows and split-levels in Grantham and Merritton, lakeside cottages turned year-round homes near Port Weller, and newer townhomes and condos across the north end.

Painters in Niagara Falls

Away from the tourist district, Niagara Falls is a city of established neighbourhoods: older homes in the downtown Queen Street area, post-war bungalows along the Lundy's Lane corridor, mature streets in Stamford, the riverside village of Chippawa, and newer subdivisions in the south and west ends.

Painters in Welland

Welland grew up around the canal and its industry, and its homes reflect that history: compact older homes near downtown, wartime and post-war houses on the north side, canal-side properties in Dain City, and newer subdivisions to the south and west.

Painters in Thorold

Thorold sits on the escarpment beside the canal locks, a short drive from Brock University. Its older downtown has nineteenth and early twentieth-century homes, while Confederation Heights and Rolling Meadows add newer family housing and plenty of student rentals.

Painters in Port Colborne

Port Colborne sits where the Welland Canal meets Lake Erie. Older homes near West Street and Humberstone sit alongside lakeshore cottages that have become year-round homes, and lake wind, sun and humidity are hard on exterior paint and stain.

Painters in Grimsby

Grimsby stretches from the Lake Ontario shore to the top of the escarpment. Its historic downtown and the painted Victorian cottages of Grimsby Beach sit beside lakeside condos at Grimsby on the Lake and newer family homes along the QEW.

Painters in Lincoln

The Town of Lincoln covers Beamsville, Vineland and Jordan in the heart of the Twenty Valley. Farmhouses and heritage homes share the landscape with newer subdivisions in Beamsville and Vineland, and Jordan Village has a well-kept historic streetscape.

Painters in Pelham

Pelham is one of the region's most sought-after places to live. Fonthill has an older village core and many newer subdivisions, Fenwick keeps a small-village feel, and the countryside around Ridgeville and North Pelham has larger rural properties.

Painters in Niagara-on-the-Lake

Niagara-on-the-Lake includes the historic Old Town, where the heritage conservation district governs exterior changes, as well as Virgil, St. Davids, Queenston and the newer Glendale area. Painting here often means matching historic colours and respecting original trim and siding.

Painters in Fort Erie

Fort Erie runs along the Niagara River and the Lake Erie shore. Older homes in Bridgeburg, cottages turned year-round homes in Crystal Beach, the village of Ridgeway and newer subdivisions in Stevensville give it a wide mix of exterior painting and staining work.

Painters in Wainfleet

Wainfleet is a rural township of farms, small hamlets and Lake Erie shoreline. Painting work here ranges from farmhouses and outbuildings to lakeside cottages along Long Beach, where sun and wind wear down paint and stain quickly.

Painters in West Lincoln

West Lincoln is a largely rural township centred on Smithville, which has an older core and newer subdivisions. Hamlets like Wellandport, Caistor Centre, St. Anns and Abingdon are surrounded by farms, with farmhouses and barns alongside newer country homes.
